Egypt team heads to Chad ahead of World Cup qualifier

CAIRO: The Egypt national football team travelled to N’Djamena Thursday for the World Cup qualifier match against Chad scheduled to be held Saturday at the Stade Idriss Mahamat Ouya, Youm7 reported.

On Oct. 13, Chad reached the 2nd round of the qualifiers following a 2-2 aggregate draw with Sierra Leone while according to regulations set by the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA,) Egypt was given a bye to the second round due to their high FIFA ranking.
