CAIRO: President Abdel Fatah al-SIsi extended his condolences to France for the victims of the terrorist attacks in Paris Friday evening, said Egyptian Presidential spokespersons Alaa Youssef in a statement Friday.
“Egypt has strongly condemned the series of attacks that targeted hundreds of victims and held others as hostages in Paris,” Youssef said.
Egypt confirmed its assistance with France in its battle against terrorism, Alaa said, adding that such attacks “push the world to unify efforts against terrorism.”
Eight suicide bombers blew themselves up at Paris rock venue, killing at least 160 people Friday evening, AP reported. State of emergency was declared.
