CAIRO: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi received Thursday visiting justice ministers from several Arab states, Al Masry Al Youm reported.

During the meeting, Sisi stressed importance of enhancing Arab legal and judicial cooperation and the “dire need to establish a unified judicial system” among the Arab countries, Presidential spokesperson Alaa Youssef was quoted by Al Masry Al Youm.

The meeting came in the sideline of the meeting of the executive bureau of the Arab justice ministers held at the Cairo-based Arab League’s headquarters Thursday.

Sisi also urged for implementing the judicial agreements in relation to fighting terrorism, and called for accelerating legal procedures to restore the looted assets of Arab nations currently in banks overseas, Youssef said.
