CAIRO: Oceanographic research vessel Admiral Vladimirsky of the Russian Navy is currently visiting Egypt’s Suez city in its expedition trip to the Antarctic.
The ship will dock at Adabiya port situated on the western coast of the Suez Gulf Nov. 25-27. Members of both the Egyptian and Russian naval forces participated in a welcoming ceremony for the vessel.
The Russian vessel of the Baltic Fleet has set sail that will cover over 30,000 nautical miles and is scheduled to return to Kronstadt town near St. Petersburg of Russia in April 2016, according to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation website.
It will also visit other ports in Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Madagascar, Mozambique, Seychelles, South Africa, Equatorial Guinea, Angola and Portugal.
