CAIRO: An Egyptian military helicopter has crashed Saturday morning, announced Military spokesperson Mohamed Samir.
“The aircraft came down in a farm area near Cairo-Ismailia Road due to sudden technical malfunction,” Samir announced in a statement on his Facebook page.
The helicopter was on a scheduled search and aerial security mission. The accident took place at 9:25 am, according to the spokesperson.
The crew suffered several injuries and was taken to the hospital to receive necessary treatment.
