Egypt population to hit 90M  Dec. 6: CAPMAS

CAIRO: Egypt’s population will reach 90 million by Sunday Dec.6, the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) announced Sunday.

The census of Egyptians who live in Egypt registered 89.9 million today, Sunday, Nov. 29.

According to CAPMAS statement, Cairo governorate registered the largest population that hit 9.43 million, followed by Giza which hit 7 million and then comes Sharqiah in the third place with 6 million people.
