CAIRO: A student in secondary degree was shot in his neck while he was standing near a window of his class at a school in Mukattam district of Cairo Sunday, Youm7 reported.
Unknown people opened fire outside the school, but a bullet entered into the student’s neck and he was transported to a hospital. Investigations have been opened into the incident.
At least six high school students were injured by birdshots in a fight that escalated control at Al Kamel School in Egypt’s Delta governorate of Dakahlia on Nov. 11, Youm7 reported.
The shooting occurred among grade 11 students outside the classroom right after the afternoon break. It followed a scuffle the occurred in the previous day among a group of rival students.
