CAIRO: French President François Hollande will visit Cairo in April 2016, Egypt’s state-owned news Agency reported, citing Egyptian Minister of Trade Tarek Kabil Tuesday.
A French official delegation will arrive in Egypt in the first three months of next year to prepare for Hollande’s visit, he added on the sidelines of Paris-held UN Climate Change Conference.
Kabil has met with French Minister of Economy and Industry Emmanuel Macron , discussing bilateral economic relations and ways of reviving the Egyptian tourism. The Egyptian Minister also held discussion with the French Employers Federation, Medef.
Before returning back home, Kabil will meet with Secretary General of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) Angel Gurría, MENA noted.
Trade volume between Egypt and France hit 1.460 billion in 2015, compared with 1.247 billion in 2014, Kabil stated on Nov. 5.
