CAIRO: A total of 16 tok toks (motorized tricycles,) seven private cars and four tricycles were burnt in a huge fire that broke out in a garage in Giza, Youm7 reported Friday.

Some nine fire trucks headed to the garage that belongs to Talbiya Police station, imposed a security cordon and managed to put out the fire.

The forces removed unaffected cars from the garage to prevent fire extension to them.

Results of investigations into the cause of the fire are not out yet; however, some eyewitnesses told Youm7 that the fire was a result of flares lit by attendees of a nearby wedding, setting fire to a tree which fell on the garage.
