Sisi heads to Athens for summit with Cypriot president, Greek PM

CAIRO:Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al Sisi headed for Greece Tuesday where he will participate in a tripartite summit with Greek Prime Minister Alexi Tsipras and Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades, Youm7 reported.

The three leaders will discuss regional developments, combating terrorism, developments in the Middle East and the Cyprus dispute with Turkey, along with international cooperation between the three countries, according to a Monday’s presidential statement.

This is the third meeting between the three leaders since Sisi took power in June 2014. They were met in Cairo in November 2014 and in Cyprus in April 2015.

During his two-day visit, Sisi will also meet with members of the Egyptian-Greek Business Forum, the Egyptian presidency announced Monday.
