Egyptian-Kuwaiti Cooperation Council mtg kicks off in Sharm

CAIRO: The second meeting of the Egyptian-Kuwaiti Cooperation Council is scheduled to kick off Wednesday in Sharm al Sheikh, Youm7 reported.

The two-day meetings will discuss ways to boost Kuwaiti-Egyptian economic ties and increase joint investments especially at the Suez Canal Axis Development Project, the council head Jassem al Saqr stated Tuesday.

Egyptian Minister of International Cooperation Sahar Nasr and head of the Suez Canal Economic Zone Authority Ahmed Darwish are among other high-level Egyptian officials to participate in the meetings.

The council will review several projects including establishing a steel and iron complex and a logistics center, said Saqr.
