LPG blast injures 5 students in school laboratory

CAIRO: Five students and two teachers were injured after a liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) blast inside a high school laboratory in the Upper Egypt’s governorate of Sohag, Youm7 reported.

The accident took place when the students were conducting an experiment, an anonymous source at the Education Ministry told Youm7.

The source added that the injured were immediately transferred to Sohag General Hospital.

Civil Protection forces were called to control the fire caused by the blast.
