CAIRO: A delegation of Chinese businessmen arrived in Cairo Friday in two private jets from Georgia in a three-day visit to discuss airplane manufacturing, DPA reported.
Official sources at Cairo Airport told DPA that the delegation includes 13 businessmen who will meet with Egyptian officials and investors the potentiality of establishing joint projects in the field.
President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi traveled to China, Singapore and Indonesia in an Asian tour in September. He had visited China in December 2014 to enhance economic relations.
Amid blooming investment relations with China, Egypt’s Minister of Investment Ashraf Salman signed a memorandum of understanding with Chinese Chains State Company to participate in developing the New Administrative Capital.
They signed another agreement on a $100-million Chinese loan from the Chinese development bank to finance the small and medium enterprises.
