CAIRO: Eight Egyptian companies are scheduled to participate in the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) that will be held in Las Vegas, Jan. 6-9, Youm7 reported Monday.
“The eight companies are based in Cairo, Alexandria and Dakahlia. They are specialized in the fields of electronics, computer manufacturing, software development and mobile applications,” board member of the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce (FEDCOC) Khalil Hassan Khalil was quoted by Youm7 Monday.
This annual CES is the largest gathering place in the world for information and communication technology products with participants estimated at 3,000 exhibiting companies and 250,000 visitors from all over the world, said Khalil.
The CES features products from consumer technology markets, such as “3D printing, accessories, audio, automotive electronics, communications infrastructure, computer hardware/software/services and breakthrough technologies,” according to CES website.
