CAIRO: A Yemeni delegation arrived in Cairo Friday morning to discuss latest developments in the war-torn Arab country, Youm7 reported.
Chaired by Yemeni Foreign Minister Abdel Malak al-Mekhlafi, the delegation is scheduled to meet with Egyptian high officials to take part in the extra ordinary meeting of Arab foreign ministers, scheduled for Sunday, to discuss tensions with Iran after attacks on Saudi embassy in Tehran.
During the 5-day visit, the delegation will also meet with Egyptian high officials to discuss latest developments in the Yemeni crisis.
Egypt was one of nine member states that participated in the Saudi-led military coalition in Yemen against the Iran-backed Houthis, who have controlled northern parts of the country since January. The coalition troops have carried out several airstrikes against the Houthi militias.
