Volleyball: Egypt to participate in Olympic Games after win over Tunisia

CAIRO: The Egyptian volleyball team will participate at the summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro after claiming a 3-2 victory over North African rivals Tunisia in the final of the African qualifying tournament in Brazzaville, Congo on Tuesday, Youm7 reported.

The Pharaohs won the first set 25-19 but Tunisia had the upper hand in the second with a 25-20 lead.

Egypt will make its fourth Olympic appearance after taking part in the Los Angeles (1984), Sydney (2000) and Beijing (2008) Games.
