CAIRO: Two military pilots were killed early Thursday after their F-16 aircraft crashed, according to a statement on the Facebook page of the military spokesperson Mohamed Samir.

Youm7 published the pictures of the two pilots, saying that their craft fell in an air base in Fayed city in Ismailia after a technical malfunction while landing.

Captain Pilot Mahmoud Mohamed Fouad is originally from Hurghada and was graduated in 1974, while Major Pilot Mohamed Gamal Abdel Aziz was graduated in 1968.

Both bodies will be transferred to their cities of birth for burial.
