CAIRO: A trade delegation from the Czech Republic will visit Egypt soon to talk ways of investing in Suez Canal, stated Czech Foreign Minister Lubomír Zaorálek during his meeting with Presidential Abdel Fatah al-Sisi Monday.
The delegation will hold a joint commission on economic and technical cooperation to invest in the Suez Canal Development area, Presidential spokesperson Alaa Youssef announced.
Zaorálek also extended an invitation to President Sisi to visit Czech Republic, Youssef added.
“The minister asserted that Egypt is a strategic partner to the Czech Republic and expressed his appreciation for its key role as a cornerstone for peace and stability in the region. He affirmed that his country supports Egypt’s counter-terrorism efforts and is keen on cooperating with Egypt in this area,” Youssef continued.
He congratulated Egypt for electing the New House of Representative and “referred to his meeting with a number of parliament members in order to coordinate the exchange of visits between the two countries’ parliament members,” Youssef said.
