CAIRO: The weather across Egypt will witness a gradual decline in temperature starting from Friday, where it is expected to plummet by 4 °C, according to meteorological experts.
The cold snap is expected to see showers on the northern coastal cities, Lower Egypt and Cairo, Waheed Seoudy, spokesperson for Egypt’s Meteorological Authority (EMA,) told Youm7 Thursday.
On Thursday, however, the temperature will slightly rise until the next day. In Cairo, the temperature will record 24 °C during the day and 11 °C at night.
As of Friday, heavy mist will spread in the morning during the cold wave, reducing visibility on highways.
Relatively cold weather and rainfall are expected on Saturday, Seoudy said.
