CAIRO: A fire erupted at a garage in Boulaq el-Dakrour district in Giza Wednesday, leaving five mini-buses burnt, Youm7 reported.
Around five fire vehicles surrounded the fire and prevented its expansion to nearby buildings, until it was controlled by civil protection forces, head of the Giza Civil Protection Department Magdy el-Shalaqany told Youm7.
No casualties have been reported as a result of the fire. The crime lab is expected to issue a report to detect the reasons behind the fire and estimate the losses.
State-owned means of transportation have occasionally been targeted by arson after the 2013 ouster of President Mohamed Morsi.
