CAIRO: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi arrived Saturday morning at Giza’s 6 October City to inaugurate a number of projects, mainly housing units for low-income people, according to the state T.V.
Sisi will attend delivering 13,000 housing units to the low-income people in light of his initiative to build a million housing units. The project is being carried out in cooperation with the Egyptian Military Engineering Authority (MEA).
In January, the housing ministry has received a total of 16,000 units from the MEA.
The government is building a total of 150,000 units for middle-income families nationwide over the course of two years.
Sisi will also inaugurate a drinking water plant that has experimentally operated last month, an official from the Egyptian Ministry of Housing told Youm7.
