Egyptian, Congolese Attorney Generals sign MoU on crime fighting

CAIRO: Egyptian Attorney General Nabil Sadek signed a memorandum of understanding with his Congolese counterpart Flory Kabange Numbi Saturday on crime fighting, Youm7 reported.

Under the MoU, prosecutions of the two states will exchange expertise, cooperate in legal and judicial levels to enhance ways to combat crimes in both countries.

A high-level delegation, headed by the prime minister of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Matata Ponyo Mapon, visited Egypt Thursday and discussed bilateral cooperation with several Egyptian officials.

During the visit, Ponyo and his Egyptian counterpart Sheif Ismail signed a number of economic development protocols of cooperation.
