Sisi to meet Togolese president in Sharm

CAIRO: President Abdel Fatah al Sisi will meet with Togolese President Faure Gnassingbé Sunday on the sidelines of the “Africa 2016″ Forum currently held in Sharm al Sheik, Youm7 reported.

The president is also scheduled to meet with an array of African investors and businessmen who are participating in the forum.

On Saturday, Sisi met with the Secretary General of the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA), Sindiso Ndema Ngwenya, and discussed means of boosting cooperation ties between Egypt and COMESA in mega projects notably the Suez Canal Area Development Project.

Sisi also met with President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari and the President of Equatorial Guinea, Teodoro Obiang Nguema. The forum is scheduled to close Sunday.
