CAIRO: Another civilian who was badly injured in a Sunday roadside bomb attack in Arish city was declared dead, Youm7 reported Monday.

Khaled Mostafa, 25, and Omar Abdel Aziz, 19, are the two civilian victims of a blast took place after an armored vehicle crossed on an explosive device planted on the road in the restive area of North Sinai.

The explosion left around 10 injured, including policemen, passersby and residents of a house adjacent to the road.

Several houses located in the area where the explosion took place were deeply affected; a committee was assigned to estimate the damages to compensate the harmed residents.

Hundreds of armed forces and police personnel were killed in escalated attacks mounted by militant groups targeting security facilities, especially in the northern tip of the peninsula.
