CAIRO: President Abdel Fatah al Sisi will receive Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore Teo Chee Hean at the Ittihadya presidential palace Tuesday to discuss bilateral cooperation in the economic domain, Youm7 reported.
The two leaders will also seek to promote cooperation in various sectors including marine shipping, port management, water treatment and desalination of sea water.
He also added that Singapore has experience in various fields that Egypt is interested in developing, such as the development and management of ports and the management of water resources and improving public education.
Teo Chee Hean arrived in Cairo Monday evening in a three-day tour where he is scheduled to meet with senior Egyptian officials and businessmen.
In August 2015, Sisi visited Singapore where he met with his counterpart, President Tony Tan, and discussed ways that Egypt could benefit from Singaporean experience and innovation in the fields of water desalination, development and management of ports, management of water resources and educations
Sisi’s visit coincided with Singapore’s 50th anniversary of independence.
