CAIRO: Deputy Speaker of the Kuwaiti National Assembly Mubarak al-Khurainej arrived in Cairo Thursday evening, the state news agency MENA reported.
Khurainej will meet a number of Egyptian officials to discuss ways to enhance bilateral relations between Egypt and Kuwait, to boost Kuwaiti investments to Egypt and to ease all obstacles facing investors, diplomatic source told MENA Thursday.
The Kuwaiti lawmaker will also discuss issues concerning fight against terrorism, Libyan, Syrian, Yemeni and Palestinian crises.
Khurainej, who arrived from Morocco, is also due to meet entrepreneurs and business owners to strengthen economic ties, according told MENA.
The volume of trade exchange between Egypt Kuwait in 2014 hit $ 2.876 billion where the Egyptian exports to Kuwait hit $ 278 million, according to the Egyptian State Information Service (SiS.)
