CAIRO: International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr met with German Ambassador to Egypt Julius Georg Luy in Cairo Friday and reviewed latest preparations for a meeting of a joint ministerial panel scheduled to be held in Berlin in June, Youm7 reported.
The duo also discussed several economic issues including Germany-funded energy, irrigation and sanitation projects in Egypt.
The minister also met with Head of the European Union (EU) Delegation to Egypt James Moran.
The meeting tackled the latest developments on electricity, health, water and transportation projects that are being partially funded by the EU.
The European Union aids Egypt with several programs in the fields of environment and sustainable management of natural resources, human development, infrastructure, communications and transport, social cohesion and employment as well as water and energy, according to the EU website page.
