Egypt’s 5-year bond yield jumps in Monday’s auction

CAIRO: Egypt’s five-year bond yield jumped at Monday’s auction, data from the central bank showed, continuing a rally in treasury yields since the central bank increased interest rates by 150 basis points this month.

The average yield on the five-year treasury bond jumped to 15.678 percent from 15.050 percent at the last auction on March 14.
