CAIRO: Egypt’s House of Representatives approved the final draft of its new internal bylaws that will regulate the conduct of lawmakers during the next five years, Youm7 reported Wednesday.

During a Wednesday session, 403 out of the parliament’s 596 MPs voted in favor of the internal bylaws drafted by a six-member committee that was chaired by Wafd Party MP Bahaa el Din Abu Shoqa.

Parliament speaker Ali Abdel Aal said the draft will be referred to President Abdel Fatah al Sisi Thursday for final approval.

In February, the draft was reviewed and amended by the legislative department at the State Council.
