CAIRO: Egypt’s General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) has postponed an international rice tender until Tuesday, traders said.

Traders said that GASC had delayed the tender in order to amend the shipping dates and some of the specifications.

A rice tender was cancelled last week after the state buyer was unable to agree on prices with suppliers, traders said.

GASC was not immediately available for comment.
