CAIRO: The EgyptAir Training Center has successfully passed the European Agency inspection for Safety and Aviation (EASA) testing program, Safwat Musallam, the chairman of EGYPTAIR Holding Co. announced in a statement Friday.
A high-level delegation from the EASA reviewed training programs, quality standards and the administrative structure of the instructors at the center to make sure they conform to the specifications and requirements of the European civil aviation authority, said Musallam.
The inspections were carried out on all classrooms and instructors, and evaluated the quality of training courses and also the manuals of the concerned department.
This accreditation, necessary when making any agreements or protocols of cooperation with international companies, “confirms the center’s leadership,” he added.
Earlier this year, the security sector at EgyptAir has also successfully passed the U.S.-based Transportation Security Administration (TSA) testing program.
