CAIRO: Forecasters have expected temperature to drop in Cairo Sunday by around eight degrees Celsius after it reached 40 this week, Youm7 reported Saturday.
A massive heat wave has hit the country, accompanied with sandstorm and thunder rains in some areas.
A dusty wind is expected to continue on Sunday on the southern parts of the country, while Upper Egypt will see very hot weather.
In Cairo, the temperature will record 32 °C during the day, while at night; it will reach 22 °C.
In Upper Egypt’s cities of Luxor and Aswan, the temperature will remain high mounting to 42 °C.
the official forecast authority warned against wearing light clothes, and advised people to remain wearing winter clothes as the temperature is expected to plummet again on Monday and Tuesday by 3-4 degrees.
