CAIRO: President Abdel Fatah al Sisi will pay an inspection visit to the ongoing development projects at the Mount Galalah located on the western shore of the Red Sea’s Gulf of Suez, Youm7 reported.
The project encompasses the establishment of 17,000-acre Al Galalah City at an altitude of 700 meters above sea level on top of a mountain that bears the same name, according to Youm7, the city is set to include residential, tourist and service areas, an international medical compound, an international tourism resort and King Abdullah University.
It is a part of the broader national Suez Canal Axis Development Project launched by President Sisi last year. The project is being carried out by the Engineering Authority of the Egyptian Armed Forces in cooperation with public and private sector companies.
In September, Tatweer Misr launched the first phase of the project with an initial investment of $250 million.
