CAIRO: Egypt’s House of Representatives will receive French President Francois Hollande Monday during his three-day visit to Cairo, Youm7 reported.
Hollande is scheduled to meet with Speaker Ali Abdel-Aal and number of lawmakers.
The French president heads a high-profile delegation of more than 80 French businesspersons, for expanding investments in Egypt. He and President Adel Fatah al-Sisi held a news conference Sunday and witnessed signature of 18 cooperation agreements in fields of military, transportation and energy and with an estimated worth of 1.8 billion Euros ($2.03 billion.)
Hollande’s visit to the Parliament is the fourth visit paid by a head of state this year, as Saudi Monarch Salman Bin Abdul Azizi addressed Egypt’s parliament a week ago.
Chinese President Hu Jintao visited the parliament Jan. 19. Iraqi President Fouad Masum visited the House on March 8.
