‘India by the Nile’ cultural festival to kick off April 23
Bollywood Extravaganza by Teamwork Arts, a flashmob kick-starting #IndiaByTheNile festival in Egypt.

CAIRO: The fourth edition of “India by the Nile” will take place in Cairo April 23 – May 07.

The annual event brings the Egyptian audience diverse cultural experience of Indian contemporary and classical music, crafts, dance, theatre, visual arts, photography and food. It will take place in Cairo, Alexandria, Port Said, Ismailia and Beni Suef governorates.

“The event presents a spectrum of shows including the internationally acclaimed theatrical production Love Story – A Bollywood Musical, a Teamwork Arts production, celebrating the exuberance and opulence of the Indian film industry and the all time favorite Bollywood Dance Workshop by Artistic Director Gilles Chuyen,” according to the event webpage.

The event will run in partnership between the Indian Embassy in Egypt, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Tourism, and the Cairo Opera House.
