CAIRO: Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al Sisi met with visiting Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and his accompanying high-profile delegation Thursday and discussed a number of issues of mutual interest, Youm7 reported.
The two sides stressed the importance of concerted efforts, cooperation and solidarity against “threats of foreign interference that aim at undermining the foundations of stability and security in the Arab region.”
They also asserted the need for strong and effective coordination to form joint Arab action that will confront regional threats, extremism and terrorism.
Sisi and his guest also discussed ways to strengthen strategic and stressed the depth of relations between the two countries. He welcomed UAE investors in Egypt and appreciated the UAE’s stance in support of Egypt through its contributions to the country’s development.
