Blaze sweeps through pharmaceutical company in Alexandria, injures 31 workers

CAIRO: A total of 31 workers suffered suffocation and burns after a pharmaceutical company was set on Fire Thursday in Egypt’s Mediterranean city of Alexandria, announced Health Ministry official.

Six firefighting vehicles were deployed to put out the fire.  It has been revealed that a short circuit was behind the fire outbreak that caught in cartoon boxes in the company’s storehouse.

A blaze broke out at the Mar Girgis Church in Upper Egypt’s governorate of Luxor Wednesday morning, leaving no human causalities.
