CAIRO: Defense Minister Sedky Sobhy met with his New Zealand counterpart Gerry Brownlee Friday and discussed ways to enhance military cooperation between the two countries, Youm7 reported.
During the meeting, the two army leaders tackled several issues of mutual concern along with exchanging military expertise between both countries.
The meeting also covered the tasks of multinational force and the great role played by the Egyptian military to facilitate its mission in spite of rising militancy in Sinai Peninsula.
The meeting was attended by Egyptian Chief of Staff Mahmoud Hegazy and a raft of top brass.
