CAIRO: Two Egyptian passengers accused of murdering another Egyptian national in Johannesburg, South Africa, have been arrested at Cairo International Airport, Youm7 reported Monday.
The names of the two passengers were flagged in the system after the authorities were notified of their escape.
According to information received by Cairo airport authorities, both Egyptians; identified with their first initials as A and R, fled Johannesburg to Dubai, and then planned to land in Cairo.
The airport has frequently arrested dozens of either at large or convicted convicts.
The customs department at the airport has thwarted several attempts to smuggle large amounts of money, artifacts, sex toys, spying cameras and drugs into Egypt.
