CAIRO: The International Criminal Court (ICC) prosecutor Fatou Bensouda arrived in Cairo Saturday in an official two-day visit, Egypt’s state-owned al-Ahram reported.

It is scheduled that she will discuss with Egyptian officials the latest developments in war crimes and genocide in the Middle East.

UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon has asked the UN Security Council to refer the file of Syrian crisis to the ICC for investigations over possible war crimes.
