Heat wave ends Tuesday with 34°C in Cairo

CAIRO: Egypt’s heat wave is set to end Tuesday with gentle weather on the North Coast and cooler weather in Cairo and the Delta with low and middle clouds, according to the official forecast.

The weather is expected to be hot in northern Upper Egypt and very hot in southern Upper Egypt, however the evening will see lower temperatures.

Rain is also expected on the northern-western coasts. The wind is expected to carry dust and sand in exposed areas and in the Mediterranean, Red Sea and the Gulf of Suez.

Cairo is expected to record a temperature of 34°C at the highest and 23°C at the lowest.

On Sunday, the temperature reached 43°C in Cairo.
