4 out of 7 bodies of drowned fishermen recovered, arrive hometown

CAIRO: The bodies of four of the seven fishermen, who drowned after their boat sank in the Mediterranean city of Marsa Matrouh, have arrived at their home town in Kafr el-Sheikh, Youm7 reported Wednesday.

The fishing boat, Abu Karam, sank in Matrouh on Monday; only one fisherman out of the eight on board survived.

The bodies of the three other fishermen have not been yet recovered; Khamis Arafa, one the relatives of the victims, urged naval forces to keep searching for the bodies of Essam el-Bahlawan, Aly el-Samar and Ahmed el-Samar.
