CAIRO: An appeal on the dissolution of the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) was rejected Sunday by the Administrative Court, Youm7 reported.
The court had dissolved the boards of the EFA and Al-Ahly Sporting Club March 17 based on flaws in the electoral process. On the same day, the court upheld a ruling dissolving Al-Ahly’s administrative board after an appeal by the club and the government.
Another appeal against the dissolution of the EFA board is still being considered by the Court of Administrative Judiciary. The dissolved board also filed a lawsuit demanding the annulment of the ruling, the first hearing of the lawsuit is scheduled for May 29.
