Hungary PM in Cairo for economic cooperation talks

 CAIRO: Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán is scheduled to arrive in Cairo Tuesday in an official visit where he will hold meetings with President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi, state news agency MENA reported.

The Hungarian ambassador to Cairo Peter Kveck told MENA that Orbán will head a Hungarian businessmen delegation and will confer with Sisi and Prime Minister Sherif Ismail to discuss ways to boost cooperation in different areas along with international issues of mutual interest.

During his three-day visit, the Hungarian premier will attend the inauguration of the Egyptian-Hungarian business forum which will tackle a means to boost economic and trade cooperation and implement mutual projects, according to Kveck.

During his visit to Hungary in June 2015, Sisi met with Orbán and discussed ways to boost education and cultural cooperation between Cairo and Budapest.
