Sobhi has raised the Egyptian flag on the new helicopter carrier at the French Mediterranean submarine base of Ablain Saint Nazaire. The carrier will depart France within two days.

The $1.06 billion deal of the two helicopter carriers was finalized in Sep., 2015.
