First Motorcycle taxi service operates in Alexandria

For the first time, motorcycle taxi service has been provided in Egypt as Cabi Service Company, which is a part of El Nemr group for Projects and Trading, has operated this service in Alexandrian people to facilitate the traffic jam in the rush hours, Youm7 reported.

Coptic Christian prepares mass Iftar for Msulims in Kafr el Sheikh

A Coptic Christian will prepare a mass iftar (breakfast) for Muslims in Bela city at Delta’s Kafr al-Sheikh governorate on Monday, Youm7 reported. The Iftar is being organized under the slogan ‘take care of your country.”

Egyptian Grand Museum receives set of 2,500 artifacts

The under-construction Egyptian Grand Museum will receive Monday a total of 2,500 antiquities sating back to different historical eras. The construction of the three-phase project, which includes the construction of the museum’s main building and implementation of the master plan, landscape parks and surrounding site infrastructure, began in March 2012. Two phases have currently been completed.

 

Egypt’s Antiquities, Saudi SCTNH sign cooperation MoU

Egypt’s Minister of Antiquities Khaled al-Anani will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Saudi Commission for Tourism & National Heritage (SCTNH) Saturday to enhance cooperation on fields of antiquates and the urban heritage.

Egypt’s Minister of Culture Helmy al-Namnam met Friday with Australian ambassador to Cairo Neil Hawkins, discussing the bilateral cooperation and exchanging the cultural expertise, Youm7 reported.
