EgyptAir creates website to communicate with families of MS804 victims

EgyptAir created a website for the families of victims of MS804 that crashed over the Mediterranean last month.

The website, www.MS804.com, is meant to keep the families of the victims updated with the course of the investigations of the crash.

The Egyptian Foreign Ministry has praised in a statement Saturday the Iraqi forces’ efforts in regaining control over central Fallujah.

“The step is crucial in the path of defeating terrorism and restoring order and stability in Iraq, foreign ministry spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid said in a statement.

Egypt, Russia to sign Dabaa power plant contract within few months

Sisi, General Electric CEO discuss co-op in sustainable energy projects

President Abdel Fatah al Sisi met with Chairman of General Electric Jeffrey Immelt in Cairo Saturday and conferred on the firm’s planned and ongoing projects in Egypt, said presidential spokesman Alaa Youssef.

The meeting took up Egypt’s efforts to increase power generation to meet the growing demand and needs of new projects, said Youssef.

Fire contained at St. Mena Coptic Church in Shoubra

Civil protection forces contained a limited that has erupted Saturday evening at St. Mena Coptic Church in Cairo’s district of Shoubra.

Seven fire trucks were dispatched to distinguish the blaze which has left no casualties. According to preliminary investigations carried out by north Cairo prosecution, short-circuit is likely the cause of the fire.

Sisi meets with panel member of African Peer Review Mechanism

President Abdel Fatah al Sisi on Saturday met with panel member of African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM), Joseph Tsang.
