Egypt delivers lecture on renovation of Ship of Khufu in Tokyo

A large number of Egyptologists and experts specializing in ancient shipbuilding attended a scientific forum on the renovation of the Ship of Khufu in Tokyo Tuesday, Youm7 reported.

Head of the renovation project Eisa Zidan delivered a lecture on the renovation works and how the ship was assembled and the type of wood used to build it.

The Visitor Center and the search building at the Giza Pyramids have been renovated as part of a project to renovate the entire Giza Plateau, head of the projects sector of the Antiquities Ministry Waad Aboul Ela told Youm7 Wednesday.
