Egypt’s pavilion at Friendly Cultures Fair in Mexico awarded ‘best display pavilion’

The Egyptian pavilion at the eighth session of the Friendly Cultures Fair has received the best display pavilion award. The fair was held in Mexico during the period from May 12 to June 5, and has witnessed the participation of 94 countries.

 

Egyptians Abroad Union launches ‘we will spend summer in Egypt’ initiative

Head of the Egyptians Abroad Union in Saudi Arabia, Emam Youssef stated that the union has launched an initiative to support tourism in Egypt under the name “We will spend the summer in Egypt.”

Yousef told Youm7 that the initiative aims to encourage tourists to enjoy summer vacation on Egypt’s most famous beaches in Sharm el-Sheikh, Hurghada, Ain Sokhna, Northern Coast and Alexandria.

 

Medhat Saleh to perform concert at Opera House tonight

Egyptian Singer Medhat Saleh will be performing at Cairo Opera House Sunday at 9:30pm at the Open Air Theatre. The price of the ticket is 75 EGP ($8.5.)

 

‘Eat Pray Laugh’ stand-up comedy show in Alexandria Monday

A stand-up comedy show called “Eat Pray Laugh” will be performed during the evening on Monday at Teatro Eskendria in Fouad st., Alexandria. The show’s line up will feature Alexandria’s comedians: Ahmed Gamal, Mohamed Helmy and Mohamed Gamal El-Din, and is hosted by Steve Kandel.

Dina el-Wedidi to give concert at Cairo Opera Wednesday

Egyptian singer Dina El-Wedidi is set to give a live concert at the Cairo Opera House Wednesday at 9:30pm. The concert will be held at the Open-Air theatre and the ticket will cost 50 EGP.
