Thousands of Egyptian performed early Wednesday Eid al-Fitr prayer nationwide, the first Islamic ritual that mark the end of Ramadan, the holy month when the Muslims worldwide fast.

Transport, Environment on alert to provide best services to the Egyptians in Eid al-Fitr
Bothe the Ministries of Transport and Environment announced the state of emergency nationwide during the celebration of Eid al-Fitr. Minister of Environment Khaled Fahmy announced that all natural reserves have been developed to receive around 60,000 visitors nationwide. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Transport’s Egyptian Nation Railways has cancelled employees’ vacations to follow up the railways movement.
Businessman, nun fatally shot in Delta’s Beheira
An Egyptian Businessman and a nun were fatally shot by unknown men, who opened fire at the businessman’s car and leaving him dead and injured his son along Cairo-Alexandria Desert Road in Wadi al-Natroun of Delta’s Beheira; a bullet mistakenly hit the nun when she was riding a bypassing car with other two nuns and a monk. The initial investigations revealed that the businessman has tribal dispute with another family over a piece of land.
Water, electricity outages in three villages ahead of Eid al-Fitr celebration
Local residents of al-Hubail village in Luxor blocked Tuesday evening he international road, in a protest at water outage over 12 hours ahead of celebration of Eid al-Fitr Wednesday. Meanwhile, two other villages in Delta’s Qalyobia and Sohag suffered electricity outages.
